Ban crypto? Please, if you wanted to be this draconian, you would see the following things happen:

- People will pack up and leave the US or any country for another jurisdiction, particularly dual nationals (plenty of them nowadays);

- High-net-worth individuals that can easily send money elsewhere

- More US-based crypto companies are already contemplating moving abroad because of the heavy-handedness of US regulators (and a few notable senators that detest crypto assets)

- It will drive the market underground. Moreover, this would also involve the government knocking on people's doors to sequester their hardware wallets.
