Hi Scott,
Some excellent points raised, especially with the contrarian perspectives and buying into the market with BTC down ~65% (at present) from its ATH last year.
Besides staking sats, I am also accumulating other cryptos such as ETH, ADA, DOT, MATIC, LINK and some small to mid-cap alts.
I could convert my alts to Bitcoin and get towards one entire BTC, but prefer to spread the risk amongst a few cryptos (but not too thin of course).
Moreover, I have invested bought some shares in crypto-related companies to see how they go too (bought a ahndful of COIN during this bear market to see what happens).
In summary, I think it would be silly not to allocate some of your portfolio to crypto, particularly BTC or ETH, even just a few percent. at most, just to see what happens.
