I get having a spare, but when you're at three or above, it starts to become a pissing contest, and pretty pissing away money that could have been invested.

For context, it is worth remembering that these are five firearms on average. If you were to exclude those who don't have guns (and I wonder if this average includes all Americans or those between an age range...then the mean would start hitting double-digits.

Anyhow, each to their own, but unless if you're using the firearms as rare collectors' items that could generate a decent ROI down the track, too many spares are simply a waste of money.

Just my opinion (as an Australian).
