I would opt for 0.5 Bitcoin and 8 ETH, stake the latter, hold for a while, and subsequently trade ETH when it outperforms BTC at any given point. Doing this over time, you can gradually increase your holdings to 1 BTC whilst still having some ETH.

Yes, it is not as simple as just picking one and holding, but you can make this or a similar strategy work if you plan it well.
