With divorce rates nowadays, less marriage and fewer people doing the deeds, I wouldn't be surprised by the increase of sex robots in the coming years.

Tech improvements and the rise of VR/AR will only accelerate this.

Is it dystopian as f*ck? You bet it is. I say this because, ironically, we're better connected than ever; the global population has grown (albeit an ageing one), and we've become more urbanised.

Will people profit from it? Absolutely.
